The Holidays Are Here!
Updated: Dec 10, 2019
Our favorite time of year is here! Christmas is one of our favorite holidays and in the Lopez family we go all out. Starting out with our annual Knott's Merry Farm visit.
We started our tradition a few years ago and have not stopped since. Not only is it fun for kids with all the shows and yummy treats that are offered, but for adults as well. To me it takes me back to when I was kids, it just puts you in that holiday spirit. Not only do we visit to start off our holiday season, but we also have a special birthday we celebrate at the park.
My little Snoopy fan has celebrated her birthday at the park since she was 2yrs old! This month she turned 6yrs old and she of course reminded us that we must go celebrate with Snoopy. Our first stop was camp snoopy to take a picture with her best friend snoopy and the gang.
They were happy to see eachother again.
She met the rest of the gang and was sure surprised when Peppermint Patty and Sally guessed her age.
Meet and greet with Snoopy and the gang is located in Camp Snoopy next to Flying Ace.
Every year Knott's Merry Farm has something new to offer and this year some of the foods were a little different and absolutely yummy! They also have a variety of holiday vendors throughout ghost town. You can do some holiday shopping as you walk around and support small business, this another thing I love about Knott's that they support these business owners and allow them to have booths at their park.
Don't know where to get your Holiday treats while at Knott's? Not to worry they have these guides throughout the park to show you what seasonal eats and treats are available and where to find them. There are so many to choose from! Hope you have your sweet ready.
Did I mention the great deal on this 2019 Knott's Merry Farm souvenir mug?! For only $11.99 you purchase this mug filled with hot chocolate or coffee and get free refills on your day of visit and $1 on your next visit through January 5, 2020. We definitely enjoyed refilling our mug with hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream. Perfect for the cold drizzly day we had during our visit.
I love seeing how beautiful all the decorations look throughout the park. We love just walking around and enjoying how every part of the park is decorated and puts you in the Christmas spirit.
Being 36wks pregnant was not going to stop me from going to Knott's this year. Baby and I wanted to enjoy all the treats and beautiful decorations. This is our kick off to the holiday season! I wobbled through the park as best I could and was able to stay until the end.
Every night you can experience a winter wonderland in Ghost Town! You can enjoy the beautiful lights along with snow falling throughout the town. My kids had a great time!
We ended our night with a visit with Santa at Santa's Christmas Cabin, where they have lots of yummy seasonal treats and a photo opportunity with the big man himself.
Knott's Berry Farm is such a fun place for our family, not only is it affordable for our family of six, well soon to be seven, but it has so many fun activities throughout the year. There are no blackout dates and it's fun for all ages. We took a break for 2019 and didn't renew our passes, since I started a new job we didn't know how we would fit it into our schedule. We decided to get one for 2020 and did you know if you purchase your pass you get a free ticket to use during the Knott's Merry Farm event?! I think that's a great deal! Oh! and if you want to go more than once this year you are able to purchase your ticket for $14.99! It can't get better that. Feel free to comment below and share any tips when visiting Knott's Merry Farm, what's your favorite part?
